There was a Warren School District Bond Measure on the May 4 ballot in Washington County for voters in the school district of Warren.

This measure was defeated

  • YES 1,339 (41.21%)
  • NO 1,910 (58.79%)Defeatedd[1]

This measure sought to create a bond in the amount of $31,820,000 in order to help build and equip school facilities in the district. This would have established a property tax of $.826 per $100 of assessed value on local property as well.[2] this bond would have paid for 42 percent on the costs of construction of three new elementary schools as well as a junior and senior high school. School officials noted that repairs were greatly needed and are unsure what will happen to the aging schools now.[3]
