The Washington Authorization and Regulation of Internet Poker, Initiative 582, is not on the November 4, 2014 ballot in Washington an Initiative to the Legislature. The measure would have authorized online poker and allowed the Washington State Gambling Commission to license online poker rooms.[1][2]

Support

Poker pro player Curtis Woodard sponsored both this measure and Initiative 583, which also failed to make the ballot.[2]

In order to qualify for the November ballot, supporters were required to submit a minimum of 246,372 valid signatures by January 3, 2014. Supporters failed to submit the required number of signatures.
