A two year levy: The Commissioners of Whitman County Fire District #5, adopted Resolution # 2011-12, concerning a proposition to finance maintenance and operation expenses. This proposition would authorize the district to levy the following excess taxes, upon all taxable property within the district, for support of the district’s General Fund fire protection maintenance and operation expenses: Approximate Levy Rate /$1000 Collection Year Assessed Value Levy Amount 2012 $.34 $10,000 2013 $.34 $10,000 Should this proposition be approved?[3]
