Williamstown Town Government Change (April 2010)

From Ballotpedia
Jump to: navigation, search

A Williamstown Town Government Change measure was on the April 10, 2010 ballot in the town of Williamstown which is in Orange County.

This was the third time this issue had gone to voters in the town, it sought to change the government of the town, namely changing the appointed manager position to something else, nothing specific is stated in the measure. Petitioners who got the issue onto the ballot suggested a less powerful position, but many residents feel that the manager position does its job and serves the community well. Most comparable communities have the same form of government.[1]
