A Town of Windsor Hotel Tax, Measure N ballot question was on the November 4, 2008 ballot for voters in the Town of Windsor in Sonoma County, California, where it was approved.

Measure N increased the tax charged to those who stay in local hotels from 8% to 12%.

A simple majority vote was required for approval.

Measure N: "Shall the Town of Windsor Municipal Code be amended to increase the transient occupancy tax, commonly called the "hotel tax," which is charged only on persons who occupy hotel rooms in the Town for 30 days or less, from 8 percent to 12 percent in order to contribute funding towards basic Town services such as police, street repair, park maintenance, and community programs?"[1]
