A Winnebago County Advisory Referendum on State Budget measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in Winnebago County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 35,677 (70.46%)Approveda
  • NO 14,959 (29.54%)[1]

This was an advisory referendum which sought to ask state lawmakers to amend the state constitution to prevent state officials from using funds dedicated to transportation needs for use in other areas.[2] The Transportation Development Association had been trying to get this on the state ballot, seeing it as the only way to stop funds being taken to be used in other areas.[3]
