A Wixom City Levy Increase charter amendment was on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the city of Wixom, which is in Oakland County.

This measure sought to increase the current city levy by a rate of $4.98 per $1,000 of assessed value for an ongoing amount of time in order to further pay for police protection services and other general city needs. It was rejected.

The question on the ballot:

Shall Section 9.2 of the Charter of the City of Wixom, Oakland County, Michigan, be amended so as to permit the increase of the millage cap in an amount not to exceed 4.98 mills for Public Safety and other City purposes?[1][2]
