Wyoming state representative resigns
CHEYENNE, Wyoming: Lisa Shepperson (R), who had represented District 58 in the Wyoming House of Representatives since 2007, resigned earlier this month. She cited a desire to spend more time with her infant daughter and on her ranching business.
Shepperson was re-elected in 2010 without facing any general election opposition.
Her replacement will be chosen by the Natrona County commissioners. First, the Natrona County Republicans will submit a list of three candidates who will finish out the term that ends in January 2013.
Republicans have a commanding partisan advantage in the House.
