There was a York Town Charter Revision Commission Formation measure on the May 22, 2010 ballot in York County for voters in the town of York.

This measure was approved[1]

Public hearings were held to discuss the proposal to put this issue on the ballot and then to further revise the York town charter. The committee would be elected to make a major change to the charter, it has been revised seven times previously but none major enough to warrant the establishment of a commission. The budget process and citizen petition process are the main issues that are seen to need revisions in the charter.[2]
