In the small town of Grants, New Mexico there has been a controvery raging since last June. The Democratic primary for state senate saw David Ulibarri defeat Clemente Sanchez by just five votes. However, there was a small matter of 182 ballots that just seemed to disapper.[1]

"We don't know"

The state has been investigating the missing for ballots for several months and still have no answers. Cibola County Clerk Eileen Martinez oversaw the election, yet has no idea where they went. "I don't know what happened to those ballots," she stated, "And the attorney general's office was here and they investigated, and we got a letter from them that there was no misconduct or anything like that, so we don't know where those ballots went."[1]

Sanchez says he has lost faith in the system.
