2014 ballot measures
Nineteen ballot questions are certified for spots on nine statewide ballots in 2014, as of May 21, 2013. Proposed measures can be found here.
Historically, even-numbered years feature a significant increase in the quantity of ballot measures over odd-numbered years. Though 2012 featured a full 188 questions on the ballot, that is actually lower than the 194 average for even-numbered years since 2000. It remains to be seen whether or not 2014 will continue this downward trend since the 2006 high point of 226. The probability of that happening partly depends on the success of various legislation and proposed constitutional amendments which would make it harder to place measures on the ballot.
Initiatives that have already filed signatures and are pending certification can be found here.
