Rowden's opponents in the November 2 general election were Democratic candidate Robert Sezak, Republican candidate John Picchiotti, and un-enrolled candidate Paul Tessier. According to unofficial results, Picchiotti defeated Rowden, Sezak, and Tessier in the November 2 general election.[1] Democratic incumbent Edward Finch was not eligible for re-election.
