The question on the ballot:

The Board of Directors of Aberdeen School District No. 5 approved a proposition for school maintenance and operation levies. This proposition provides for the support of educational needs of students, General Fund maintenance and operation expenses by authorizing the levy of the following excess taxes, to replace an expiring levy, on all taxable property within the District: Collection Year: 2013-2014; Approximate Levy Rate per $1000 Assessed Value: $4.089; Levy Amount: $5,065,500. As specified in District Resolution No. 2011-12. Should this proposition be approved?[3]
