Over 500 absentee ballots have been rejected in Howard County, Indiana because they were filled out by the UAW and not the individuals requesting them. On the absentee ballot request forms, the the party ballot and the reason for the request were both filled in automatically by the UAW in advance. Indiana state law prohibits pre-filled in absentee ballots. [1]

Other counties in Indiana have received similar pre-filled absentee ballot requests.[1]
