Driggs won election in the 2012 election for Arizona State Senate District 28. He ran unopposed in the August 28, 2012, Republican primary. He won the general election on November 6, 2012.[3][4]

2010
Driggs was eligible but did not seek re-election in 2010. He instead sought election to the district 11 seat of the Arizona State Senate. He won the August 24 primary and then defeated Democrat Rita Dickinson in the November 2 general election.[5][6]
