Koenig won re-election to the 69th District Seat in 2010 with no opposition. According to official results, Koenig receieved a total of 8,646 votes.
Koenig defeated Brett Gaspard by a margin of 2,209 to 1,105 in the May 18 Republican primary election.
2008
On November 4, 2008, Koenig was re-elected to the 69th District Seat in the Kentucky House of Representatives, defeating Merrick S. Krey (D). [3] Koenig raised $59,713 for his campaign, while Krey raised $80,583. [4]
