The Adjudication Monitoring Committee is a standing committee of the Arizona Legislature.

Function

  • (1) monitor the progress of the Arizona general [stream] adjudications and the status of their funding;
  • (2) conduct hearings and request information from the Director of the Department of Water Resources as deemed necessary to be apprised of adjudications; and
  • (3) make recommendations for legislative action necessary for the efficient, prompt and just conclusion of the adjudications. The Committee shall meet and report at least annually.
