This measure sought to add to the current district levy by a rate of $.26 per $100 of assessed value in order to further pay for district operational, equipment and upgrade costs.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

For the purposes of providing additional ambulance services and updates to fire and rescue equipment as recommended in a strategic plan developed with community input, shall the Board of Directors of the Affton Fire Protection District be authorized to levy an additional tax of not more than twenty-six cents per one hundred dollars assessed valuation to provide funds for the operations of the District?[3]
