  • Improving our Education System: Fight to fully fund Public Education ensuring every child receives a quality education, smaller class sizes and higher teacher’s pay.

The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature-filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 7, 2014. Akhtar Sadiq was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while incumbent John E. Albers was unopposed in the Republican primary. Sadig was defeated by Albers in the general election.[3][4][5]
