Alabama Amendment 1 was on the November 7, 1998 election ballot in Alabama. It passed, with 55% of voters in favor.

Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of Alabama, authorizing the appropriation of revenues from the cellular radio telecommunications service tax for the payment of principal and interest on the outstanding bonds of the Alabama Revolving Loan Fund Authority or its successor authority.
