The Alabama Capital Improvement Trust Fund Act, also known as Amendment 1 was on the June 1, 2007 special election ballot in Alabama. It passed, with 79% of voters in favor.

Text of the proposal

The language that appeared on the ballot:

Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, as amended, relating to the Capital Improvement Trust Fund to increase the amount of General Obligation Bonds authorized herein and to provide for competitive bidding of said bonds. (Proposed by Act 2007-005)
