Proposes an amendment to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901 relating to the promotion of the production, marketing, use, and sale of sheep and goats and their products; provides a means by which members of the sheep and goat industry may organize and by referendum levy upon themselves assessments for the purpose of financing promotional programs; provides a means of collecting, disbursing, and expending any assessments; provides for the refund of assessments; and provides for the promulgation of rules and procedures.

Changes to the Alabama Constitution

The passing of Alabama Sheep and Goat Industry Promotion, Amendment 3 added Amendment 715 to the Alabama Constitution.
