Alabama Voter registration rolls not properly maintained
From Ballotpedia

In Montgomery, Alabma a man by the name of Allen Cotton has twice tried to remove his deceased wife from registered voter list in Alabama.[1]
I have informed poll workers several times that my wife, who passed away more than a year ago, is still on the voter rolls. Twice I have filled out a form to inform the office responsible for maintaining the rolls. The last time I voted, the person responsible for supervising the office where voter records are maintained was in the voting place. I informed the poll worker that my wife still remains on the current voter rolls.[1]
