Federal offices
U.S. Senate
Partisan candidates must qualify with their respective party. Filing fees are set by each party. Independent candidates must submit signatures equal to at least 3% of the votes cast for the office of Governor in the last general election.[1]
Write-in candidates are not required to declare their candidacy, but are subject to campaign finance reporting requirements.[1][2]
U.S. House
