The Alaska Health and Welfare Correctional Facility Bond, also known as Proposition 5, was on the November 3, 1970 ballot in Alaska as a legislatively-referred bond act, where it was approved. The measure issued $8.6 million in bonds for the construction of health and welfare correctional facilities.[1]
