Alaska Community College System Initiative, Measure 3 (1988)
The Alaska Community College System Initiative, also known as Measure 3, was on the November 8, 1988 ballot in Alaska as an indirect initiated state statute, where it was defeated. The measure would have established a state community college system independent of the University of Alaska.

This measure would form a state community college system, separate from the University of Alaska. The University would transfer to the college system all property needed to operate and maintain it independently. Facilities meant to be used by both the college and the University would still be shared.
