The Alaska Recreation Centers Construction Bond, also known as Proposition 1, was on the March 6, 1973 ballot in Alaska as a legislatively-referred bond act, where it was defeated. The measure would have issued $11.5 million in bonds for the construction of civic, convention, community recreation centers and all-weather sports facilities.[1]
