The Alaska Statehood Commission Advisory Vote ballot question appeared on the 1980 statewide primary election ballot in Alaska. The goal of the ballot question was to establish an Alaska Statehood Commission to study the relationship of Alaska to the rest of the United States, and to make recommendations about any changes that would be desirable in that relationship.
The ballot question was approved, with 50.6% voting in favor.
