The Alaska University Construction Bond, also known as Proposition 12, was on the November 2, 1976 ballot in Alaska as a legislatively-referred bond question, where it was defeated. The measure would have issued $26.96 million in bonds for the purpose of financing capital improvements for the University of Alaska.[1]

Proposition No. 12: Shall the State of Alaska issue its general obligation bonds in the principle amount of not more than $26,950,000 for the purpose of paying the cost of capital improvements for the University of Alaska?[2]
