The Alaska Votes on Constitutional Amendments Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the August 22, 1974 ballot in Alaska as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved. The measure provided that legislatively-referred constitution amendments shall appear on general election ballots, rather than primary election ballots.

Proposition: Shall section 1, article XIII of the Alaska Constitution be amended to provide that amendments to the Alaska Constitution shall be submitted to the voters, not at the next statewide election following their proposal by the legislature, but at the next general election.
