The Alaska Water Systems Bond, also known as Proposition 16, was on the November 2, 1976 ballot in Alaska as a legislatively-referred bond question, where it was approved. The measure issued $31 million in bonds for constructing water supply and sewerage systems.[1]

Proposition No. 16: Shall the State of Alaska issue its general obligation bonds in the principle amount of not more than $31,000,000 for the purpose of water supply and sewerage systems construction?[2]
