There was a Albuquerque City General Obligation Bond Proposition on the October 6, 2009 ballot in Bernalillo County.
This proposition will create a general obligation bond in the amount of $8,444,000 in order to be used to generally improve the city. The funds will specifically go towards modernizing, renovating, rehabilitating, furnishing and enhancing the buildings in the city. The money will also go towards acquiring, building and furnishing fire and police facilities within the city.
This bond was approved by city voters
