Buck ran in the 2012 election for Massachusetts State Senate District Third Middlesex District. He ran against Mike Barrett, Mara Dolan, Joe Kearns Goodwin, and Joseph Mullin in the Democratic primary on September 6. Barrett won. Incumbent Susan Fargo (D) did not running for re-election.[1][2][3]

Campaign themes

In an effort to create more jobs, Buck argues that more investments must be made in infrastructure and public transit. He supports increased funding for early childhood programs, and believes that healthcare is a right rather than a privilege.[4]
