Andrew Peterson (b. November 11, 1956) is a former Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He represented the Hillsborough 3 District from 2006. Peterson also represented New Hampshire State House, Hillsborough, District 8 from 1996-2002; he was the Senator for New Hampshire State Senate, District 11 from 2002-2004 and a candidate for New Hampshire State Senate, District 11 in 2004-2010.

Peterson's professional experience also includes Peterborough Board of Adjustment and co-owner of Peterson's Incorporated Real Estate.

Peterson earned his BA from Dartmouth College. He and his wife, Kirsten, have four children; Jennifer, Anna, Sarah, and Ellie.[1]

2008

On November 4, 2008, Peterson was re-elected by finishing first out of four potential seats in the Hillsborough District 3 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. Peterson (3,959) was followed by Democrats Anne-Marie Irwin (3,748), Jill Hammond (3,156), Peter Leishman (2,947), Regine Vorce (2,581), Republican Ronald Scaccia (2,388), independent Dana Glow (1,523), and "Others" (24).[2]

Peterson raised $12,078 for his campaign, against $500 by Irwin, $1,946 by Hammond, $3,019 by Leishman, and $831 by Vorce.[3]
