Angela Moore

statewide office of secretary of state, the seat currently occupied by Republican Brian Kemp, who had been appointed to the position following the resignation of gubernatorial candidate Karen Handel. [1] Seven months later, Moore went on to place third in the July 20, 2010 Democratic primary with a little under eighteen percent of the vote and failed to qualify for the run-off contest. [2]
