Born February 5, 1956 in Omaha, Nebraska, Sen. Dubas is a farmer from Fullerton, NE. Her interests in politics came from serving as President of the District 2 Farmer's Union, and as a member of the Fullerton Public School Board,and the Nance County Planning and Zoning.[1]. She still maintains an active farm when not working in the Legislature.[2]
Dubas attended Columbus Beauty College in 1975.
Dubas works as both a farmer and rancher.
Dubas became a member of the Fullerton Public Schools Board of Education before becoming a senator of the Nebraska State Legislature in 2007.
Dubas is currently involved with the Community Bible School, District 2 Farmers Union, National Farmers Union Policy Development Committee, Friends of the Constitution, Mid Nebraska People Responding in Defence of our Environment, and the Saint Peter Catholic Church.
Dubas currently serves on the Nance County Planning and Zoning Board.
