Ligi announced on December 14, 2012 that he will be resigning his seat on January 1, 2013 to become executive director and chief legal counsel for the Jefferson Business Council.[1]
Ligi is an attorney and real estate title insurance agent. He received his JD from the Loyola University School of Law, and BA in Political Science from Mansfield University.
Ligi is a member of the Jefferson Parish Legislative Delegation, and the Louisiana Republican Legislative Delegation.[2]
