An Antigo School District Referendum 1 question was on the November 6, 2012 ballot in Marathon County, Wisconsin, where it was defeated.[1]

This measures authorized the Antigo School District to issue general obligation bonds in the amount of $24.5 million in order to fund land acquisition and construction.[2]

Language on the ballot:

Shall the Unified School District of Antigo, Langlade, Shawano and Marathon Counties, Wisconsin be authorized to issue pursuant to Chapter 67 of the Wisconsin Statutes, general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $24,500,000 for the public purpose of paying the cost of acquiring land; constructing an elementary school; and acquiring furnishings, fixtures, equipment and technology[2][3]
