The fist measure sought to add to the current school levy by a rate of $.54 per $100 of assessed value for a period of four years in order to ensure there is no operations deficit in the school district.
The second measure sought to add to the current school levy by a rate of $.37 per $100 of assessed value for a period of three years in order to avoid an operations deficit in the school district.[2]

The question on the ballot:
| Question 1: Shall a levy renewing an existing levy be imposed by the Arcadia Local School District for the purpose of AVOIDING AN OPERATING DEFICIT in the sum of $440,000 and a levy of taxes to be made outside of the ten-mill limitation estimated by the county auditor to average 5.4 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.54 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a period of four (4) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013?
Question 2: Shall a levy renewing an existing levy be imposed by the Arcadia Local School District for the purpose of AVOIDING AN OPERATING DEFICIT in the sum of $305,000 and a levy of taxes to be made outside of the ten-mill limitation estimated by the county auditor to average 3.71 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to thirty-seven cents ($0.37) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a period of three (3) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013? |
