Arcata Transactions and Use Tax (2008)

An Arcata Sales Tax Increase, or Measure G, appeared on the November 4, 2008 ballot in Arcata, in Humboldt County, California.^[1],^[2]

The transactions and use tax measure will increase the city’s sales tax by a half-cent, with a half percent dedicated toward transportation enhancement, rehabilitation and improvements and a quarter percent designated for public safety.

Measure G was approved with 63.49% of the vote.
