A Archuleta County Sales Tax Extension measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in Archuleta County.

This measure was defeated

  • YES 1,347
  • NO 3,562 Defeatedd[1]

This measure sought to extend the current sales tax of 2 percent indefinitely, meaning if it had been approved voters would have no longer voted on the renewal of this tax because it would have had no expiration date. Currently the money generated from this tax goes towards capital improvements on county roads and the village of Pagosa Springs.[2]

Current Statewide

A 2013 statewide measure, Amendment 66, would authorize Colorado to increase taxes with an expected revenue increase of $950 million for school funding.[3]
