Arizona Commission on Salaries for Elective State Officers
From Ballotpedia
The Arizona Commission on Salaries for Elective State Officers (CSESO) is a committee of the Arizona State Legislature that has the responsibility of conducting a review of the rates of pay for elected State officers, justices and judges of the courts of record and clerks of the Superior Court every two years.
This review is made for the purpose of "determining and providing the pay levels appropriate to the duties and responsibilities of the respective offices and positions subject to the review."
By June 1 of each even-numbered year, the CSESO is required to submit a report to the Governor of Arizona of its findings and recommendations; this can include a commission-referral of any recommendations to a statewide vote of the people.
