The Arizona Right to Jury Trial Referendum did not make the November 6, 2011 general election as a veto referendum in the state of Arizona. The measure sought to repeal parts of Senate Bill 1200, which would eliminate the right to a trial jury for those who have been accused of driving while intoxicated. The referendum was proposed by the group called Committee for the Right to Jury Trial. The date that the referendum was filed with the Arizona Secretary of State was May 5, 2011.[1]

Path to the ballot
According to the Secretary of State's office, since the measure was a veto referendum, supporters must have collected a total of 86,405 signatures by the July 19, 2011 petition drive deadline in order to obtain ballot access. However, according to supporters, they were unable to collect enough signatures by the deadline.[2]
