The
Arkansas Realtors Association (ARA) was founded in 1925 as the Arkansas Real Estate Association, a state branch of the National Association of Real Estate Boards. In 1973, both adopted the term Realtors and officially changed their names. The ARA has 37 local boards across the state, and a political action committee to promote the interests of its members in state government.
