The Arkansas Term Limits Amendment did not make the November 4, 2014 ballot in Arkansas as a legislatively-referred constitutional amendment. The measure would have limited the total number of years a state legislator may serve.[1]

The measure was introduced by State Representative Denny Altes (R-76).[1]

According to the Arkansas Constitution, a majority vote is required in both chambers of the Arkansas State Legislature to refer a measure to the ballot. The measure died in a legislative committee sine die adjournment, meaning the committee did not assign a future meeting regarding the amendment.[1] Therefore, a vote did not occur in either chamber of the legislature.
