Arlo Schmidt (b. September 6, 1931) was a Democratic-NPL member of the North Dakota House of Representatives. He represented the 7th District from 1995-2010.

Schmidt is a retired auctioneer. His professional experience includes being part of the Special 1st Class, United States Army, 24th Infantry, AAA Battalion and a Benson County Weed Officer. He attended the American School of Auctioneering.

Schmidt and his wife, Marion, have six children; Paul, Mary, Lori, Corey, David, and Jon.[1]
