New York Daily News-WASHINGTON, DC-As election day nears, both candidates running for President have armies of attorneys on call across America to make sure our election is clean and fair[1].

Large Amount of Lawyers Sent to Deter and Prevent Voting Fraud

The New York Daily News reported that more than 5,000 lawyers are stationed around the country for the Obama Campaign while the McCain camp will deploy almost as many[1].

The lawyers are looking for election fraud and voter intimidation. The tactics attorneys will be no the look out for are excessive police presence in precincts with heavy concentrations of minority-group voters or improper requests for extra identification by poll workers[1].

Lawyers for both campaigns will also staff hot lines in key battleground states and at their national headquarters, encouraging calls from voters who are turned away or otherwise intimidated.[1].
