Arnie Stuthman (1941-) is a member of the Nebraska Unicameral representing District 22. He was first elected in 2002.
Background
Born June 25, 1941 in Colfax County, Nebraska, Senator Stuthman is a hog farmer from Platte Center, NE. His experience in politics started when He was on the Nebraska Pork Board. Later he landed a position on the National Pork Board, and served as its chairman.[1] Senator Stuthman also served in the Nebraska Air National Guard.[2] He is currently married to Nancy Sanley with four children and known to be Lutheran.
Education
Arnie Stuthman received his diploma from Columbus High School in 1959.
Professional Experience
Arnie Stuthman began his professional experience in the Nebraska Air National Guard in 1961 and left in 1967. He is currently a farmer and volunteer firefighter.
Political Experience
Arnie Stuthman became the chair of the Platte County Board of Supervisors in 1994 until 2002, when he joined the Nebraska State Legislature as a senator.

Arnie Stuthman is currently involved in a number of organizations, including the Beverly Heath Care Advisory Board, Christ Lutheran Church, Columbus Community Hospital, Nebraska Workforce Development Board, Region IV Mental Health, Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce, National Pork Board, Nebraska Pork Producers, Platte County Agricultural Society, National Young Farmers, 4-H Council, County Extension Board, and the East Central District Health Department.
