Arthur House is a member of the Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority. He currently serves as Chairman.[1]


House has been Senior Vice President of Public Affairs at Webster Bank, and also held senior executive positions at Cigna, Aetna, and Tenneco. He served as Director of Communications at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Prior to his nomination to CPURA, House was Chief of the Communications Group for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, a combat support agency of the U.S. Department of Defense.[2]

He held three positions in the U.S. Senate - chief of staff to former Connecticut Senator Abraham Ribicoff, Staff Director of the Democratic Policy Committee for former Senate Majority Leader Robert Byrd, and specialist on international relations for former Connecticut Senator Chris Dodd.[3]
