Article XV of the Ohio Constitution is entitled Miscellaneous and consists of 12 sections.
Section 1

Section 3

Receipts and Expenditures; Publication of State Financial Statements An accurate and detailed statement of the receipts and expenditures of the public money, the several amounts paid, to whom, and on what account, shall, from time to time, be published, as shall be prescribed by law. |

Officers to Be Qualified Electors No person shall be elected or appointed to any office in this state unless possessed of the qualifications of an elector. |

Section 6
| Text of Section 6:
Lotteries, Charitable Bingo Except as otherwise provided in this section, lotteries, and the sale of lottery tickets, for any purpose whatever, shall forever be prohibited in this state. The General Assembly may authorize an agency of the state to conduct lotteries, to sell rights to participate therein, and to award prizes by chance to participants, provided that the entire net proceeds of any such lottery are paid into a fund of the state treasury that shall consist solely of such proceeds and shall be used solely for the support of elementary, secondary, vocational, and special education programs as determined in appropriations made by the General Assembly. The General Assembly may authorize and regulate the operation of bingo to be conducted by charitable organizations for charitable purposes. |

Oath of Officers Every person chosen or appointed to any office under this state, before entering upon the discharge of its duties, shall take an oath or affirmation, to support the Constitution of the United States, and of this state, and also an oath of office. |

Section 10
| Text of Section 10:
Civil Service Appointments and promotions in the civil service of the state, the several counties, and cities, shall be made according to merit and fitness, to be ascertained, as is practicable, by competitive examinations. Laws shall be passed providing for the enforcement of this provision. |
Section 11
| Text of Section 11:
Marriage Only a union between one man and one woman may be a marriage valid in or recognized by this state and its political subdivisions. This state and its political subdivisions shall not create or recognize a legal status for relationships of unmarried individuals that intends to approximate the design, qualities, significance or effect of marriage. |
